The Story
Behind the Mount
The wind started before daylight  cutting across the high desert ridge and rattling the sage.
We had glassed this basin for three mornings before finally catching the curl of horn in the rising sun.
He stepped from the rock face calm and deliberate, a ram worthy of the climb.
When the shot broke, the canyon fell silent  and the memory began.
For my family  thank you for the patience, the belief, and the early mornings.
